Actually, I think I could use a little advice from you guys (cuz I suck at giving advice to myself). Ok, so my friend asked me out. He's really nice and all that, but definitely not my type. I mean, I need someone I can talk to about stuff that I'm interested in, and well....he has a hat made out of duck tape So the thing is, it really took me by surprise when he asked me out, since most of the time he barely even understands the words I use. So I panicked an I lied to him. Yes, I lied. And I feel bad. You see, I told him I'm still rather attacthed to my ex, which is bad for a few reasons. #1, I'm waaay over my ex, and I met this new guy that I like loads better. #2, I LIED, which is awful! and #3, won't he figure it out and have his feeling hurt when I start dating someone else?? So do you think what I did was wrong?? Actually, I wonder if anyone actually reads this column who doesn't have a problem.... [shadow=blue,left,300]oooh..lol, well his hat sounds quewl.. Well, it wasn't that bad cause you were caught off guard, but if he does that again hopefully you'll be prepared enough to try to tell him the truth.. which would hurt him more: Finding out that you don't like him from you telling him or finding out through seeing you with someone else? If I was him, I would really appreciate it if you talked about it sometime even though it could get pretty awkward..hmm..yes, that's all cause I'm tired..[/shadow]

Who? Who asked you out? I don't think I know a guy with a tape hat...who is this guy? Why didn't you mention him?

You wouldn't by any chance need advice on the subject would you? Nah, I'm thinking I'm handling it well enough, and it doesn't matter b/c everyone thinks we're going out anyway so its funny lol.

Ah, I know who you're talking about now. He's the one with that strange t-shirt about normal people scaring him or something. I didn't know he was you're friend....well, now that I've seen him I assure you I'm not jealous at all.

Sorry to interrupt, but I need advice: Should I still be in LOOOVE with Daniel Radcliffe after seeing the cheesiest, ugliest pictures of him without his glasses on (SERIOUSLY he should keep them on! He looks so much better with them!)? I mean, I saw one where he looked like MATT LEBLANC FROM FRIENDS!
*Refer to my screaming post in the Other Hp Discussion Thingy*

Hmm.....well, if Prongs suddenly got ugly, I'd still like him, so if you can still love someone even when they look hideous, you must care more about them than what they look like, which I assure you is a good thing.
Then again, are you sure "love" is a good word to use in your situation? I mean, you've never met him have you? He could be some kind of nose-picker, for all you know. I'd say you have an infatuation. That's okay, because we all have them. I mean, come on it's not like I watched Pirates of the Caribbean 6 times for the plot!
You just shouldn't confuse infatuation with true, mature love.

I mean, come on it's not like I watched Pirates of the Caribbean 6 times for the plot! Ugh... I watched Pirates of the Caribbean once, got bored, started walking around the room randomly bothering people and playing cards with my friends, and didn't get any idea what it was about. Johnny Depp's like 4 times my age, so it's not like I'd be staring at HIM. NEED MORE ADVICE: Is it okay if, at night, I have 4-way conversations with me, myself, my HP poster, and my kitty Tigger? I've done it before, seriously... I'll be talking to myself, then me will reply, then I'll ask my poster what it thinks, and end by saying "Ain't that right, Tigger?" I dunno, I seem perfectly sane during the day. ;D But it does get SCARY seeing Daniel Radcliffe's extremely enlarged head staring at me from between Rupert and Emma's shrunken ones. (Rupert Grint actually looks cute in my poster; that's the only time he ever does.) And after I saw those hideous shots of Daniel, I actually got scared of my poster and ran into the bathroom. I'm looking at him right now and I'm wondering whether I should move my poster. So what I need advice on is: 1. Is it okay to have 4-way conversations with me, myself, Posty (look at me I named it) and Tigger? 2. Should I move my poster since I found out my first crush is SCARY!? 3. Are there any other shots in which R.G. is actually cute other than the poster?

1. Yes. I talk to my goldfish all the time. I've found if you pretend you're talking to someone else, then you can think more clearly.
2. Is the poster disturbing you? If yes, then yes, and if no, then no.
3. I don't really happen to think he's all the cute, so I couldn't answer that.

Thanks for the advice!
And is it okay if I use my poster as a punching bag only to get excruciating pain in my fist so I get really mad and it only gets worse?
*I find myself slapping Emma Watson a lot*

Well, it's okay to take out your anger in a physical way at times (if it's on an inanimate object), but consider using a pillow. Or do what I do and throw koosh balls at the wall. But what's with the aversion to Emma?
