[glow=red,2,300]He is gone, he's dead, there's no doubt about that. But, Harry can get a Time-Turner from Dumbledore, or some other source, and go back in time to either: 1. prevent his past self from going to the Ministry at all, 2. persuade his past self to use the mirror Sirius gave him, 3. somehow save Sirius in the Ministry. Maybe when J.K. mentioned the cabinet full of Time-Turners and the Bell Jar, she was hinting? I don't think he will be resurrected by the veil, as I have heard.[/glow]

That may as well be true....But there is just one thing that stops that from happening.
Why would j,k cry if someone dident really die???

I dont think Harry will be able to save sirius by going back in time. What i've gathered from book three about JKR's time travel theory, you cant change events that already happened. When Harry was fighting the Dementors in book three and he saw himself, it was a reflection of her time travel theory...i hate time travel...way too confusing. But when people go back in time, what they do happens in the past, so the future they were in cant change. because from that future, the past already happened...*so hard to explain....*

I wish Sirius would come back because i am despritly in love with him (Yes, i'm in love with a fictional book character... i admit it) but unfortunatly i don't think he actually will come back... i'm sure we'll all miss him though and his influence on Harry will show in the later books!

What the heck? i just wrote something and it disappeared! I'll never understand this website... What was supposed to be on the previous thing... I don't think, and I hope I am wrong, that Sirius will ever come back. yes, I know there has been some question about the veil. As Luna said... "they're lurking out of sight", so I think this might be a hint that the veil be used later. However, as for Sirius, I think (and hope) that he'll come back, but I don't think that will be the case. Harry might see him again, but I don't think he will ever truely come back.

O i get what yur saying now never mind.

Except one problem. If you used the timeturner, you'd see yourself. Remember in PoA, he thought he saw James saving them from dementors, but found out it was himself? BECAUSE IT HAD HAPPENED, but not yet to the present. The one who saved them was soon-to-be Harry. If he was going to use a timeturner, he would've saw himself saving Sirius from the arc or deflecting Bellatix's (DIE ) curse! Don't cha think?

harry does have an invisibilty cloak and could have vanished him or somthing but now that i really think about it the only way sirius can come back is if he gets out from behind the viel.

But this is what confuses me. Sirius got hit with a red spell, most likely, Stunning, or some other spell that would put Sirius out of battle, not out of life. The killing curse is green. I think the reason he died was because he fell behind the veil. Notice Lupin instantly reached the conclusion that he was dead. However, Bellatrix didn't try and KILL him. I think if Harry reached beyond the veil, he would die too. But I may be wrong.

o i definatley think the veil represents a form of death but it seems an odd way to kill a hero charachter y not give him a heros death y make him fall through mysterious veil i think the fact sirius didnt die a "normal" death might be somthing important.

Thanks for agreeing with me. P.S. I wasn't saying Harry would die by the veil, just if he DID than he WOULD probably die. ;D

yeah i totaly agree wit u there and i think harry would probably die if he went through the viel. i was just combining two ideas in one post when i was talkin about how it was an odd way for sirius to die.

Yeah I think that the veil thing will be further explained in the next few books. I highly doubt Harry will just give up and say "I don't understand why he died from that... but oh well, he's gone, I might as well get over it." I really can't see that happening. I am also very interested to find out a further explanation of what Nick said about the ghosts etc.

I believe that the veil holds the spirits of deceased witches and wizards, or something of the sort.
