Actually, it's quite possible in the HP world. The theory proposes that an older Ron (Dumbledore) comes back in time to his own childhood (ie, Ron's childhood, the present time). As a metamorphmagus, he could easily have changed his appearance to appear to age, which would explain why everyone has memories of a younger Dumbledore.

Not really, which is one of the reasons I have trouble with it...then again, I never thought she'd do a prophecy, seemed too obvious...

It cant work. That old lady said she remember when Ddore took his owls, meaning Ron would have had to have traveled before or during his fifth year at the latest. This did not happen in the fifth book!

Wow you guys are so bloody brilliant. And when Ron sacrifices himself so Harry can checkmate the King that is like so symbolic. Now all of us know exactly how book 7 ends. Ron/Dumbledore dies and Harry killed Voldemort.
The prophecy says that the parents of the chosen one will have thrice defied Voldemort. Then it says Voldemort will mark him as an equal. Alice and Frank Longbottom being tortured by Death Eaters was not marking Neville as an equal, it was marking his parents as a threat. Turning up at Godric's Hollow in person specificaly to kill Harry is marking Harry as an equal.
"Harry could not be the King because he is not the King" whoever wrote this is not bright now are they. dumbledore isn't the King. I most firmly believe that Dumbledore will die in the end. That won't be the end of the war. Harry who is the only one who will even stand a chance at killing Voldemort is the King. Being the olny one who can kill Voldemort if he dies Voldemort can't die--Harry and voldemort are the kings. Read the prophecy if you don't believe me.
in OotP J.K. tells us about the clicking of expensive reacing bike coming around the corner. Dudly then waks home with Harry. Olivander says that the wand chooses the wizard and no wand will work quite as well with out the right wizard. Ron had a hand me down wand while one of his older siblings got a new one Neville had a hand me down and in CoS and PoA everybody is stealing everybodys wand and doing fine with out it. J.K. has mad mistakes. the dates of Bertie Botts birth and Dumbledore's comment could easily be a mistake.
Dumbledore knows Harry has been to the mirror other nights so where is it said he hasn't been there other nights.
Dumbledore ran off to London and halfway there realized where he should be and came back just in time. Why not save him in the beginning. beside i doubt he knew Quirrel was housing Voldemort on the back of his head.
Nobody trusts Malfoy. Does that mean that Hermione is McGonagall? So Dumbledore didn't trust him.
No body except Gilderoy knew Harry and Ron went down to the Chamber untilo afterard unless you count Myrtle. Dumbledore didn't allow it he didn't know about it.
Dumbledore doesn't distract the people in the hut. He makes sure eveyone signs becaus that is what needs to be done it is red tape stuff from the minstry.
All in all I think it is a load of dung. Just as stupid as Dumbledore being Voldemort, because he knows everything...
However if J.K. does write that in I am going to sell all my books, burn my Slytherin costume as well as my wand. I'd send J.K. bags of hate mail, it'd be the greatest Boycottin history!
