Hmmm memories memories...ooh i know! this is a 300 board memory...
this is who i was:
I was a girl with few posts (no, really!) who went by the name "emily" or "Ginny_Potter:)," whatever mood i was in, really. I was a TOTAL newbie. I was unsure as to what the smilies were, and when other people used them i was sure they were some high-tech wiz or something! I wasn't used to getting around that simple little thing, and would take forever pecking out a response with my fingers.
this is what I remember of the members, and how they influenced me:
Darkscribe was there. He was a big fanfic writer, and everyone loved his stories...I never read any of them though, because at that time I was even a bit unsure as to what fanfiction was as well...
.I liked the idea of it though, and already i was developing as a writer...I began to write the Lily and James stories, which were in Lily and James' point of view as first years. I wrote about 2 chapters before they fell into the abyss that was that message board and were never seen again (for you see, this message board there was a 300 thread limit...[hence the name]when the 301st message was posted it was never seen again)
Computermouse was there...she was a nice girl, the girl everyone liked...the cautious girl, mind you. One of my memories involves a member asking for her email adress and getting no in return, which created havoc around the board for some reason, maybe I'm missing something, hmmmmm
Ah, yes, Dr. Toodles was there...this is embarassing but I thought she was a guy for quite a long time! in all my posts mentioning her i put "he" they must have thought i was a loony!
