This is by HikariHeart not me. It's about how the Clubs and Groups started...
NDJT = Not Dead Just Trapped NTJD = Not Trapped Just Dead DBNG = Dead But Not Gone
These were created shortly after OotP was released. In fact, the beginnings of NDJT happened that day.
NDJT was originally just a thread for Sirius fans to come mourn and help each other to get through the hard time of loosing him. During a discussion between me and HPF, though, we ended up making it a club, and coming up with a motto. Not Dead Just Trapped, which was shortened to NDJT. NDJT became our club name later, and we put NDJT into our signatures.
Well, some of the people here for some reason started NTJD, the oppisite of NDJT. There goal was to permote reality and get rid of the denial, or something. This group mostly consisted of people who didn't like Sirius in the first place.
DBNG was created for the people inbetween. The fans of Sirius that admitted he was dead, but wanted to remember his memory.
NDJT was the longest thread for a long time. This was before DL and all the word games. I mean, 6 pages was huge to us. It mostly consisted of the group coming up with different ways to Kill, Wound, or Maim Bellatrix.
Then the dreaded NERD, evil mod, attacked. By this time, a lot of other groups had formed. Like HART and P.R.E.F.E.C.T, and few others. There was enough for Deinne to feel a need for a different area for all the clubs. She named it Clubs and Groups. During NERD's reign of terror, he deleted every single thread in the Clubs and Rules.
NDJT was lost, afterwards it did come back, but not to its former glory, and since it wasn't really popular anymore, neither were NTJD or DBNG.
Then Harry Potter Rumors moved back to Homestead, where it started up again, but then fell into the bleak abyss of no posters.
It ended up getting deleted during on of cleanings, and no one has restarted it since.

Now that I think about it, there are a few other facts regarding NDJT that haven't been mentioned as of yet, just like things to do with many of the other clubs. Like the reason it was not started back up again. That was simply beause I think most of the members of thr group lost interest in it altogether. On the last boards the main reason it kept going for so long was simply becuase of the fact we had a list going on ways to hurt a characters that people had come to hate very quickly. For some reason I think if it hadn't been down to that it wouldn't been as successful, coupled with the timing it was created (just as people were finishing reading the book, and the whole department of mysteries incident was still fresh in their minds) helped the club along. Thinking back to the fights that erupted between NDJT and DGDD, NTJD, NTJD, and how ever many other clubs there were against the idea that Sirius may still be alive, all of them (or at least the majority from what I could tell) actually took place in the NDJT thread, by other members coming on and posting about the impossibility of him still being alive. At first those of NDJT started fighting insults with insults, but as time went on we just started pulling up the whole reason we had created NDJT in the first place and our reasons for believing what we did. Other things about NDJT was that, instead of a president or anything, we had two joint-headmistresses as leaders (myself and HikariHeart, as we tended to post the most on the thread), and, if I remember rightly, we planned to set it up as a school, with deputy-heads, teachers, prefects and students, we just never got around to it. And it was probably would be a little to hard to do anyway. Now, as you probably know, there are houses down in the clubs and groups too (or was, I'm not sure if they got cleared out in the cleaning). This was started off by a member (Godric) who put up a Gryffindor thread. This proved popular, so the idea for houses popped up when Cho Cho suggested that we have the three other houses, and the head of house would be whoever started the thread. She took Ravenclaw, I took Hufflepuff and someone else (I can't remember who) took Slytherin. These other three houses became a relative success, and when we all came onto this board it was taken up again, with the idea to set up a full-blown school, with teachers and everything. Another thing I can remember is the DA club. When this was formed it took off immediately, similarly to Gryffindor and NDJT had, and it gained a large number of posts pretty quickly. After a matter of days or weeks (I can't remember which) darker groups started popping up, starting with the Death Eaters, which was quickly followed and taken over by a residents Dark Lord's (who went by the name of Yedi) group who didn't gain a name until we moved to this board, but, during the move to here, like many other groups, interest was lost, and even though a differant group sprung up to oppose the Yedi (the Order of the Phoenix), and everything was then done in secrecy, the popularity was never truly regained. Other clubs I can think of off of the top of my head are few, but there are a few. The ones that seems to stick out are LACCAU (Let's All Clip-Clop At Umbridge) started by Cho Cho, GROPE Snape (Group Rallying Over Potential Enemies of Snape) started by (I think) Elysium, the DL started by Dr Toodles and I love tha Moon (which is for people who are kinda obsessed with the Moon Song) are older ones that I can remember. As for newer clubs, I can name a few of them easily. There is the Pirates Club, which was started by Amiphist (I have no idea what name she goes by now) on the 13th of March. Many members joined this quickly, due to possible obsession with certain pirates (or at least the actor's who play them). IHB (I Hate Bellatrix) is another more recent one, started by Orlandosgirl 18th of April, and often has debates with me (the only person who, so far, is on here and actually like Bellatrix). Currently they are trying to set up a trial for Bellatrix, which should be fun! Now there are also the BS and GO clubs. There is no way I can get away with not mentioning them. The war (which I was part of the start of the firs one of) is apparently going on again, but I know very little about this. There are several other clubs and groups out there, all, really, from what I know, stemming from NDJT which doesn't exist anymore. [EDIT] This is the longest post I've ever written! EVER!

It's so cool to read this, because I remember it all. I never got involved in the NDJT thing.

Much as I hate breaking my own rule and bumping a post, I send this now to the front page of this board. I would like to see this project take off now that students are starting to get out for summer vacation and have some more time on their hands. I'm pretty excited with the thought of compiling a great number of experiences into our common one!

Yup, unless he starts kissing KAYKO and Orlandobabe again... In that case, we might have to start a Third War!
