This is part one, of two. I don't know if I'll contiue right now, but as it stands...
Creeping silent as a mouse, a handsome boy sniggered. His eyes were alight with mischief, an idea swelling inside his brain. "Padfoot, you've got that look on your face again."
Wiping his look clean, Sirius tried his usual glance of innocence. "But Moony, old pal, whatever do you mean?" His eyes showed no hint of the previous excitement; a skill he aquired over the past years.
Lupin sighed, appearing even more tiresome than his usual state. "You know, that look you and James get whenever you're up to something." Sirius batted his eyes for effect, but only succeeded in looking like a girl. "Don't be daft, Sirius, I've seen that naiveness too many times to be fooled. What are you thinking?"
Sirius dropped his act. Rubbing his hands suspiciously, he replied, "Well, since James is gone for the night because of detention, I have some time."
Lupin snorted. "The only reason he is in detention tonight is because he took the blame of your little stunt. Extrememly funny. Permanently sticking booger-flavored jelly beans up Chad Clystale's nose." Lupin shook his head in disbelief.
"Did you see that little snot? He-"
"-Is only a second year!" Lupin finished, eyeing Sirius with a look of great consternation. "Honestly, what have I done to make you such a hateful child?"
"Maybe its because you tried to rip off my arm last month." Sirius grinned, watching Lupin's face distort.
"You know I can't control what I do when I'm transforming! Its not like-"
Laughing upraorishly, Sirius held up a quaking hand. "I'm joking!" He gasped, keeping one eye open to keep check of Lupin's facial expressions. "Blimey, Moony, what side of the bed did you wake on?"
Taking several calming breaths, Lupin shut his eyes to regain control. He opened them, the redness relieving from his cheeks. "Anyways," He said through gritted teeth, obviously trying not to have Sirius's booming laughter affect him. "Back to the subject. What are you planning?"
Glancing over his shoulder, Sirius inquired, "How long has it been since we played a joke on Snivellus?"
Dawning comprehension grew on Lupin's face. "Not tonight, Sirius! I've got to transform and I need you for company. Since James is gone, I'll never be able to handle it if you aren't there. I'll probably eat Peter alive!"
"Oh, don't worry, I'll be there." The miscevious expression appeared on his face once more. "I just want to have a chat w/ ol' Snivvy." With that, he left.
Lupin shook his head, not wanting to know what embarrassment Sirius had in store for Snape while a pudgy kid trudged to the nearest tree, listening to the conversation.
Whaddya think? Should I put part 2?
