But why do you think the Book Two rumor must have something to do with changing houses? Or did JK say it must? I'm confused...

JKR said someone will switch houses ... Which I think will be someone into Gryffindor - maybe Crabbe or Goyle -- Crabbe was noticibly missing in Movie 3 - Malfoy had someone else as his croney
as well JKR said someone will learn magic that had not known about it before - someone who is older than the typical 1st year

Crabbe in Gryffindor? Lol... that's a good one... Nah, I'm still with my Gabrielle theory.

If JKR said it was something that was in the COS movie, and not the COS book, well... it wouldn't have anything to do with how Ginny looked when her mom congratulated her. That was in both the book and the movie. I can't think of anything off the top of my head that was in the movie and not the book... going to have to watch the movie again.

JKR said someone will learn magic that had not known about it before - someone who is older than the typical 1st year Petunia! she obviously knows a lot about the magical world for a complete muggle and is more concerned for harry's safety than she appears. She doesn't necessarily have to go to hogwarts; she could study somewhere else.

What about Argus Filch? He'd be somewhat unexpected. (My flight got delayed, I'm leaving tomorrow)

That is one of the stupidest things i've ever heard, almost as dumb as Malfoy and Harry teaming up to fight evil in the 6th book, where do u get this from? Geeze.

No one said it HAD to be a house change. Some one could transfer into Hogarts. I think Hagrid might return, now that all the characters know he is innocent why shouldn't he be able to return.
