well, daniel does have a point. i remember when those came out there were stories in the paper like "ARTEMIS FOWL:THE NEXT HARRY POTTER" Sure, but I just think that that writer was probably trying to get those books published for ages, and then with the success of HP, the publisher decided to finally give in. I really don't think most writers of fantasy care about popularity as much as their own ideas and work.

the lost years of merlin is a great series (lost years of merlin, seven songs ofm, fire ofm, mirror ofm, wings ofm) and today it was 80 degrees F. how hot would 80 C celcius be? like melting, rite? *shudders*

um, yeah, it would be melting. its exactly 90 o right now. I had to go to Pearl Harbor today for that dumb end of year field trip. The school district goes every year. Like weve never seen it before.

Its actually kinda cloudy here... its nice. But still hot. And Pearl Harbor messed up my day.. its depressing. Going there makes me visualize Josh Hartnett dying. over and over and over again.

^ i honestly hope that was humor, because (no offense) but you've got to be seriously shallow if you go to pearl harbor and all you can think of is josh hartnett

^ i honestly hope that was humor, because (no offense) but you've got to be seriously shallow if you go to pearl harbor and all you can think of is josh hartnett Ooops...we learned about that whole African war, and all I could see was Orlando Bloom falling out of that plane, again and again... Actually, I don't think she was being shallow; Josh played a soldier of that time in that movie, therefore in Orli's mind Josh is a personification of that tradgedy. ;D

I did think about the movie Pearl Harbor though. But not neccisarily about Josh and Ben, more about the Arizona (well, its hard not to, when your standing on the dock looking down at it) and the hospital parts. (which, in case you never saw Pearl Harbor, are quite graphic) The fact that I live about 10 minutes away from Pearl Harbor and have been there at least a billion times (every year on Dec 7, plus other times) took away from my mourning, but I wasnt thinking bout Josh, trust me. My grandpa was in Pearl Harbor, by the way.... He was in the navy. He has a big burn scar on his arm. I dunno why Im telling you all this, just got caught up in the memory, I guess. Oh well.
