Just practice alot. That always makes me feel better when I have to do something in front of an audience. And also just give yourself some time the day of the meet to sit down breathe and focus on what you're going to be doing and to chill out. don't mentally sike yourself up for it.
You'll do great! ;D

Don't eat chocolate just before, it's bad for your throat.

Take a deep breath. Remember, no matter what, you'll be great. And Double P, if they asked you to sing, take that as a compliment. That means they think you are REALLY GOOD. Use that as confidence.

Make sure you bend your knees while standing up there. Or they will lock. If there is a podium don't be afraid to lean on it, I find it helps. Don't breathe heavily into the mike.

i'm doing a solo too for a performance...(it's Reflection from Mulan) even though it's short, it's only "Look at me, I will never pass for a perfect bride, or the perfect daughter, can it be, i'm not meant to play this part?"

OOOO! Good luck! The only advice I have is that you should sing your hardest and if you should mess up, laugh about it. ;D Lord knows I've had to enough ;D

GP- Anyone who can sing reflection fully and hit ever single note is extremely talented cuz there is a very hard not ein there. But you dont have that note, i dunt think.
DP- Think of me! Wait no! thatll ruin you....my advice is drink tea with lemon, thats good for your throat. Wear some concealer ony our face incase you start to blus or something, ull have extra coverup. Um,s ing your ass off girlie! *cheers for DP*

Get enough sleep. If you have a full seven to eight hours of sleep, you'll be much more prepared.

oh, also, don't practice too much the night or day before the preformance. Your voice might not be able to take it.

Belt it out! Oh, and don't dwell on it too much, cuz you want to swim well, too.

when you get nervous, try to do some random stuffs to keep your mind off things. Sing the song under your breath while you do it! (Of course, that'll make you nervous, but whatever)

go over the lyrics in your head, like all day, so you dont forget even if you get nervous. while you're singing, just think about what you're doing, about the words and the notes, dont look directly at anyone, look at like their shirt and fix your eyes on it, then pick something else at intervals so you dont look like you're staring. raise your eyebrows, it helps with tone quality. just tell yourself you'll do well and you will! ;D
