OK, we had to much threads pinned up here, we'll try to make a synopsis of the rules here, so we have it all in one thread ...
1.) Post-cheating
DYH
This is why the game of last was deleted. Same for the time game.
2.) Pointlessness
This is what happeded to the "praise the mod" game, they are only locked, not deleted. This is because we don't have a rule yet about how pointless a game may or may not be. We'll try to discuss this with Dienne.
3.) Long-threads
So this is why the first "person above you" game was locked, there is a new thread to continue in of course. We'll leave the old one as reference, if ever you want to take a look at it.
4.) Games Only!
A game can only be considered a game if it cannot turn into an ordinary conversation. In other words, it has to have some format (i.e. word association: apple...orange).
It can't be random paragraphs like: "I like apples a lot. They remind me of oranges. Oranges rock! Oh my gosh! This one time at band camp..." Yeah, so they can't be able to stray from the game set forth in the rules of that particular game.
*A note about the complimenting threads - the complimenting another person has not been locked, because there is a format, and so far nobody has strayed from that. The complimenting yourself one has been moved to Non-HP because there was no format that people were following, and it turned into a nice little chat. If someone wants to start it up again with an actual format, be our guest.
Thats about it, so have fun gaming...

Sonya and I decided to lock some of the really pointless threads until we get the chance to discuss some things with Dienne. We're going to see if we can get some guidelines written up about how much pointlessness to allow. If she says that anything's fine, then we'll unlock them. This is what happeded to the "praise the mod" game, they are only locked, not deleted. This is just a special reminder for this board, since it's the most relevant here, that any time a post reaches 100 pages, a Mod locks it. If you want to continue that post, you need to start a new one and call it "(Name of Game) Cont."So this is why the first "person above you" game was locked, there is a new thread to continue in of course.
