I just read a few books recently... First off I FINALLY read that biography about J.K. Rowling...and I've read the first book in the discworld series (The Color of Magic by Terry Pratchet) it's a little confusing sometimes but once you get used to the authors style the series is very enjoyable and amusing... I also read this book called The Year of Secret Assignments by Jaclyn M (I forget her last name ) that was really good and I read this pretty depressing and scary (but really excellent) book called Jay's Journal

The RuneLords--by David Farland its VERY sad...depressing..But still Nice..Its part of a series, but I havent got the other books yet!;D ages 11 on:D Come Armageddon---by Anne Perry Its also VERY sad...Nice but sad...ages 10 on:D
;D;D Lately...I only seem to find books that are really sad..everyone dying and stuff!
books by Robin McKinley are "The Hero and The Crown" and "The Blue Sword". it goes in the order I listed..the stories are connected. I LOVE "The Blue Sword". Ive read it about 20 times! Alright its later now;D. I cant type up all the poems that I suggest..because it would be a REALLY long post. I'll start off with some SHAKESPEARE...then later I'll do some other poets!!!
Romeo's last Words---"Romeo and Juliet"
She should have Died Hereafter---"Macbeth"
In Such A Night----"Merchant of Venice"
Death of Cleopatra---"Antony and Cleopatra"
Some dont really have titles so I'll have to type them up..but I cant do ALL in one sitting so I'll keep posting more about Shakespeare in other posts!
From: Much Ado about Nothing Sigh no more, ladies, sigh no more, Men were deceivers ever; One Foot in Sea, one foot on shore, To one thing constant never. Then sigh not so, But let them go, And be you blithe and bonny, converting all your sounds of woe Into Hey nonny, nonny.
Sing no more ditties, sing no mo Of dumps so dull and heavy; The fraud of men was ever so, Since summer first was leavy. Then sigh not so, But let them go, And be you blithe and bonny, Converting all your sounds of woe Into Hey nonny, nonny.
Alright, so its a little corny..I STILL like it;D;D And also Ive grown tired of typing so I'll just give you the gist of the song;D..Its from The Twelfth Night and its like When That I was and a little tiny boy, with a hey, ho, the wind and the rain...etc..i'll type it up later..Im kinda in a hurry;D

Alright..you may wonder why I dont include this in the other posts...well, its because I LOVE this book...the romance, the sadness...AMAZING! It wouldn't have been right to make it part of a list...you're wondering what the book is?? Wonder no more! It's called A Raging Quiet..I cant remember the author though ...It Was TRULY awesome! For some people it may not be that great...but I really loved it...but even though I like it soooo much..its still not the type of book to be read over and over- in a short period of time;D;Dof course! So, I read it last year..and Im going to get it again from the library tomorrow So I'll post the author later...but it's one of the best books Ive read!!;D;D

I know Im supposed to be suggesting books but..I cant seem to find any lately so..Elysium told me about this fanfic called "The Student In Question" its written by Jan McNeville and its on Fanfiction.net...I really liked it;D its a Hermione /Snape thing and (even though Im still a VERY dedicated Hermione/Ron shipper;D) its was still quite cute! Ive also finished reading its sequel called "Sixteen Years After the Catastrophe" which is hermione and snape's daughter (who had been raised in an orphanage cause they didnt know about her) in love with Draco! You know the story almost made me like Draco and I also wrote 2 poems about it!! Of course the "affair" is not the centre of the story as in "The student In Question" Also she's started the sequel to "Sixteen Years after the catastrophe" its called "Seventeenth" Its seems its just started though!...seriously I had no Idea FanFic could be soooo cute!;D;D;D;D;D

Read the Ender's game series (or quintet rather). They're AWESOME! The first one should be a breeze to read for anyone. Some of the later ones may be a little too deep for some of you guys at your ages to totally grasp all the details and complexities of it, but I'm sure you'll be fine.
A good book for anyone on this site -- any age, especially younger people (you probably have to read it for school anyway by now lol ...didn't have to when i was younger, but it was a very new book then...) read The Giver. Beleive it or not, I still remember reading it now and I read it probably 8 or 9 years ago when I was in the 6th grade. Hrm...maybe I read it in the 5th grade ... bah I can't remember. Anyway, it was one of my favorite books from around then.

^ I love Enders Game! The series got weirder and weirder as it went on, though.

The Giver is one of my all-time faves. I've read it once a year every year since I was in the fifth grade.

Oh yeah, and if you read the Giver and liked it, read Gathering Blue by the same author (Lois Lowry). There's a sequel to that one but I haven't read it yet. She wrote Number the Stars, too.
