Yeah...... he was... but hes younger than me, so its not that impressive to me.
I have to ask.... have the weasley boys never heard the word Haircut? Fred and George particuarly.... that just doesnt look good on them. THEY should have been the ones to shave their heads, not Tom Felton.... his hair was hot!

emma watson has definatly improved. in the other movies, i thought she was weak, but in these, shes way better. Rupert grint is a totally natural actor, he has a presence. Dan radcliffe has a presnece, but that because he's harry and hes made to, but rupert grint, he just screams 'look at me'. David Thewlis was good, not how i imagined Lupin, but still pretty damn good. Gary Oldman was good too, but he wasn't in it much, but the bits he was in were good, played the 'crazy' part really well. Tom Felton, lol, he cracked me up, the bit where the slytherins put up their hoods and go 'ooohhh' made me laugh, and his hair looks way better, but i reckon he should have sneered when hermione pointed her wand at him, seems a more malfoy thing to do, rather than almost cry, lol. but i loved his ring, the silver with the green snake thing. hot, lol. Daniel Radcliffe has definatly improved though, out of sight. When he's crying and stuff, all angsty, he's pretty good. and he didnt make so many stupid faces this time, and his speech was clearer. lol, look at me,its not like i could do any better...

I really didn't like Dan's Emma's Rupert's or Tom's acting at all .it was not genuine at all, I don't think. Everything else was good, but I really wish they could have found a much better Dumbledore.

here's my opinion on the acting:
harry- was amazing. and a hottie. big improvement from the first 2.
ron-was very good. "you tell those spiders, ron"! priceless. very good. also much improved
hermione- was very good. much improved.
siri- was VERY good, but it just didn't FEEL like siri to me. *sigh*
lupin- oh, god, i HATED him. not how i imagined lupin AT ALL. ew.

Dan is awful. The director got the most out of him, his performance is vastly improved, but he appears to have been cast based on a momentary likeness to the the HP icon. He no longer looks like Harry Potter (there is no mistaking him for 13 in any way shape or form, he is in no way 'weedy' looking, and his voice has dropped; in essence rather than presenting like a 13 year old wizard Harry, he comes across like a generic angsty teen....he just is not and never can be "Harry Potter'. He does not have the 'character acting' ability to pull off this central role, and his physical appearance rather than hiding this somewhat (as it once did) now highlights this fact.
Rupert Grint is a very talented comedic actor and I suspect he probably is a talented character actor (I have not seen any of his other work). His sense of comedic timing, expression etc gets better every film, he knows what look to put on his face and when, to get the most performance without 'over-doing' it....his use of voice is equally masterful - he is quite possibly brilliant, although it is hard to confirm this without seeing him in another role.
Emma does well enough, yet again a competence performance.
Thewlis I was not fussed on.....didnt seem like Lupin to me, I could have revisualised and gotten past the 'looks', but either the script, the actor or the director (or a combination) have created a Lupin not in the least like my own Lupin.....I just could not accept that guy as Lupin.
Oldman did well (he is a very talented character actor), in fact he made me feel a little less anti-Sirius, which all things considered is quite a feat.
The new Dumbledore is on par with the old....neither of them are right....too grave.
Rickman was his usual fine self as was Barry.
Felton again turned in a (mostly) fine performance, although (like Dan) he is not believable as a 13 year old, he is very believable as Malfoy.....the only critism I would make would be the sobbing (both the Hermione wand scene and the Buckbeak attacks scene), however this may have been how he was directed to play the part rather than a lack of sobbing skills....it's hard to tell without knowing more about the directing.
Filch as always was Filch (dont know his name, but another fine character actor), the Dursley actors again accounted themselves well, Weasleys senior were too short to really make any judgement....I'm still not decided re Fudge. Stan (from the nightbus) was another fine character acting performance. Coltrane again portrayed a believable Hagrid.
Neville no longer looks like Neville physically (to thin, that boy must have had one heck of an upward growth spout, or someone has been melting his fat for candle wax), however he is a fine character actor in this part, he has the right face and voice, and uses both well, the boy who plays Seamus is also a fine character actor, both the actors (Seamus and Neville) are very good at what they do, and I would be interested to see them in larger roles. Like Fudge, I still have not decided re the Weasley twins.
Did I miss anyone important or noteworthy?

Yeah, Neville just didn't seem like Neville this time...Just looked like he'd blow away...
Draco, hmmmmmm, whines toooooo much...But, what I was really waiting on was when he said "Filty little mudblood" .....I was sooooo waiting on spit to fly from his mouth!!!! LOL
Thewlis.....Ah, my dear Lupin.....I was satisfied with his performance.....He made me loved the character even more....
I love Gary Oldman and Alan Rickman so their performances could never be anything but great! ;D
