Ive always heard rumors that the castle in the movies isn't a set... that they really built a castle for the seven movies... I always found it hard to believe but wondered if it was true... anyone know if it is?

Im pretty sure it is... Ive read the articles where they talk about it, and say the names of the castles (theres more than one) and where they are, along with pics, so I think that they are real castles.

yeh, they used quite a few different ones, like 'Mione said. i like the castles, theyre pretty...wish i had one lol! but i hate it how the stair cases move! urg, its not in the books!

the castle is like HUGE. . . but there isnt that many people in each house , in each year . . like 5 people .. . . 5 x 7= 35 35 x 4= 140 . .. . . ..too big of a castle for that many students . .. .. . *confused*

the different rooms are filmed in different places. the castle scenes, im sure. are different castles. i know that the library is actually an entire school that was transformed for the purposes of the movie...
i am going to england next month to see the see the moive sets. im on a special harry potter 10 day tour...ill tell you guys all about it when i get back.

ummm, probably not. its an elder hostel trip, my grandmother took abby to france last summer, and shes taking me to england this year.
