hehe, I've been told I have a good singing voice =) la la la la la do rey me fa so la te do! Operas aren't bad. I saw Evita last year at my college, wasn't a terrible show, althought the girl who was playing Evita could have been better casted and she was losing her voice. I've been trying to get to see Phantom of the Opera with my mom for the past few years, but it just never works out. Eh, what can I do? lol. But, ya, I've been in a few musicals in my day (in high school). Did Oklahoma, and was going to do Godspell, but backed out as they were casting, for aforementioned reasons on these forums. I'm more of a drama person myself, but I do love to sing. I'd actually someday like to sing with a small coffee shop band or something just for the fun of it, as a hobby, but I can't play any instruments yet, so I don't really see it happening. ... anyway, isn't an Elysium some kind of a flower? I could be wrong, I'm not a florist, but I think it is. _______________________ BTW that's a nice banner. I wish someone could make me a cool banner =) Give my compliments to your brother. I used to sing, and I always wanted to do some kind of band gig...but then, well, my dad died and I wasn't really into it anymore. After a while (when I was about elys' age) I tried to get music lessons but thanks to our wonderful president we weren't able to afford it. I have never seen an opera, but I don't think much of elys' music, so...

Well, I don't think much of your stepdad's music- polka?? Honestly. Okay, I admit it, it was pretty fun to dance around like idiots and pretend I knew what I was doing, but still...polka??
When you were elys' age...lol, you make it sound like I'm 10 and you're my uncle or something.

PS: For the record, Prongs is 17, which is only two years older than me. So he's not a pedophile like it sounds, lol.

Apparently Polka is a huge part of Mike's heritage. I think he said he was Polish or something. I have no idea what country we come from, I never really got the chance to ask my dad about it. Anyways you really shouldn't make fun elys...didn't you say you were Scottish? Hah, kilts and bagpipes...

what? one island's a little bigger than the other? <<is kidding. I'm about as Irish as it gets, even though 1/4 of me is Italian, and 1/4 of me is a God-knows what. I've asked my dad several times, and I still haven't figured it out, even though he's explained it. /boggle. So I stick to my mom's 100% irish heritage and the fact that I look no less than 99.9% irish. Least I don't have red hair My mom does though.

my hair used to be red! now it is strawberry blonde. its actually a weird hair color, but its natrual, Ive never died my hair in my life.
People think that redish blonde hair is weird, but I think it looks cool. (although it is a little strange that its my natraul hair color, since I am Hawaiian. but my face doesnt look hawaiian either, so there you go. this is a odd topic to be discussing here!

I know, but we never stay on track; too hard for us. Should we? About Emma: from what I've seen of her, she doesn't look "sexed-up". But then, as "sexed-up" is more of a character trait, I wonder what that would look like...

My heritage is oddly specific...my parental grandmother's family were German and married all German until she met my grandfather, and his family was purely French until he married her. And then my mother's side is almost all Irish except with a few Welsh spouses in there now and again.

Teehee, were any of your Welsh anncestors smugglers, they may have been in partnership with mine if they were!
I have a fairly mixed heritage, including Welsh, American, Polynesian (royalty no less), English, Irish, French, among others.

I know! Like in 'Gangs of New York', they have the coolest accents ever. I absolutely love their "party" music, you know like they play on 'Titanic' when they're down in the steerage? I love it.
You know, I want to look into my Welsh ancestors more, they're pretty interesting. Here's to hoping I find a few smugglers...

PS: LOL, Philo, 50% is not exactly as Irish as it gets; 100% is. You're only just as Irish as I am. And what IS that thing you have for an avatar?? Is that *gasp* like Pokemon or something??
